I am alone in Bournemouth [ at a creative methods workshop]. I have spent the past days trying to put the quilt into words and the long train journey has helped today. I have also taken the time to send out the letters for the next part of the study. I am feeling a bit wary about what will happen in two weeks as these are a very different group. Tonight, even though it was dark, I had to walk down to the sea. The moon hides behind the clouds yet sends a shimmer onto the horizon. The waves are crashing onto the shore and that was all I could hear. The sea is a powerful reminder to me of the strength of God’s power in my life. It restores my soul.
